PROBLEM

In 2014, three urologists ask Colloquium to help them in their project to create a conference on robotic surgery in urology. They wanted that the Congress takes place at the ICM Salpêtrière hospital which is a reference center for robotic surgery and could provide a reliable scientific position for their event. A challenge ahead for the organization ! Indeed, the amphitheater can only accommodate 180 people and the implementation of an exhibition with booths is not feasible.

SOLUTION

Colloquium worked on a concept of a new format in line with the innovative character of the population urologists. At the heart of the event proposition: 3 Live Surgeries broadcasted simultaneously in 3D, a priority given to the interactivity with the public and an open program. The digital transformation and the new information consumption habits impact Congresses and drive them to reinvent their formats. The UROP congress is one of those new digital events.

The 2nd edition of the congress will be held in October 2016 and is already sold out.
New projects on the web may come in the next years.
